Technical Support Engineer

Objective

To provide qualified technical support by effectively managing the entire request resolution cycle and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, with the aim of increasing efficiency, responsiveness, and overall customer satisfaction.

Role description

The Technical Support Engineer plays a strategic role in the organization’s growth and development by ensuring an effective, proactive service that is strongly oriented towards customer satisfaction.

The role includes the following key responsibilities:

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives based on customer feedback, working closely with the engineering/design team, and contributing to the development of drawings, technical analyses, and studies required to implement improvement solutions
• Managing and resolving customer issues, including order-related requests, technical clarifications, and non-conformities, in close coordination with the main internal departments
• Handling non-conformities by applying structured problem-solving methodologies (8D/A3), including Root Cause Analysis, and defining corrective and preventive actions aimed at achieving permanent resolution and continuous improvement

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Engineering

Professional experience

• Previous experience in modern, well-structured manufacturing organizations is preferred
• Experience in the metalworking/mechanical engineering sector will be considered a plus

Preferred technical skills

• Technical analysis and interpretation of engineering drawings
• Problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3, RCA)
• Continuous improvement principles
• Use of ERP systems
• Good command of the English language
